About your rent

Monthly rent

Every month you receive a request to pay your rent with an attached pre-printed yellow payment slip

Make sure you pay your rent before the 1st of the month

If you do not pay the rent in time

• A first reminder will be send around the 15th of the month
• The second reminder will follow 7 days later
• A third and last reminder will be send 5 days later. With this reminder, your contact person at your university will also be notified.
  
  Futhermore, if we do not hear from you within 3 days, the lock on your room door will be changed!

Rent revision
The rent is reviewed annualy in liaison with the educational institutes.
Apart from this yearly rent review, De Key is entitled to amend the monthly rent agreed between the parties at an interim stage if market circumstances indicate the need for this.
In case of such an interim rent review, De Key shall give the tenant at least one month's written notice, prior to the date it comes into effect.

Rent policy
The rent Short Stay Facilities charges is assessed by looking at the actual costs from the previous year and expectations for the next year, taking into account that Short Stay Facilities does not have a profit motive.
