Are you coming to Amsterdam as an exchange student?

Please contact the institution or faculty where you will study during the academic year (from September until June). Please contact the UvA, HvA, VU, HIH, KIT, or RAK.

Already received notice from your educational institute?

After receiving notice from your educational institute that you are going to rent a room through Short Stay Facilities, you will receive a room offer from us by e-mail. In this room offer you find all necessary information and forms to proceed with the reservation.

Please do not contact us directly before having received confirmation from your educational institute that you have been assigned a room through Short Stay Facilities.  

Can you choose your own room?

We allocate rooms depending on several criteria determined by your educational institute. It is not possible to apply for a certain room or a certain location. We try to find you a room according to your preferences, but it is no guarantee.

What's the duration of a lease agreement?

The duration (starting and ending date) of the lease is mentioned in our room offer.
The duration of a lease agreement with Short Stay Facilities is:

  • Minimum one semester
  • Maximum one year         

Changing the duration of the lease agreement is only possible with the approval of your faculty or educational institute (never longer than 1 year)
